There’s no denying it. Americans love this sport more than any other. Once upon a time, baseball was America’s favorite pastime. That’s not the case anymore.

The World Series saw record low ratings this year. But each February, the Super Bowl seems to set a new record high for television viewers (and spending on ads). In fact, four of the top five telecasts of all-time are Super Bowls.

The NFL is a money-making machine. Despite threats of player strikes, scandals and rumors popularity could decline as parents shy away from letting kids play the high-impact sport, no team owner is worried about paying the bills.
